Eat. Share. Love. 2016

Tapulanga Foundation held its 8th benefit dinner entitled Eat. Share. Love. 2016 last November 18 at Sugarland Hotel, Bacolod City.  This was by far the most attended with more than 300 people.

The sumptuous buffet menu included the following:  Vietnamese spring rolls, chorizo empanaditas, mixed seafood chowder, Greek salad with feta cheese, olives, walnuts and honey-balsamic dressing, pasta felix, chicken relleno, beef yakiniku, roast porkloin with mango-pineapple sauce, mixed vegetables, rice and one round of soda.  Desserts included swiss chocoloate cake with caramel crunch, blueberry cheesecake and sansrival.

During the program, Pre-Kindergarten entertained everyone with a cute dance number. Scholars of the Silay Summer Workshop 2016 Guitar class with their teacher Mr. Junjun Davo performed Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head and a modern song Love Yourself by Justin Beiber while the Hip Hop Dance class danced.

The main event of the night was the silent auction with more than 200 donated items ranging from gift certificates (hotels, salon, spas and restaurants) to kitchenwares, shoes, toys, locally crafted and imported bags, paintings and home decors.

Proceeds of this event will go to the Senior High School Scholarship program of Tapulanga Foundation and the Sports Program of St. Francis of Assisi School of Silay City.
